Did you know

... In ShoreTel 12.1, the history tab in your Communicator continues to record your made, missed and received calls, even if your Communicator is not running. For example, if you shut down your computer for the night and receive 10 calls since then, these entries will display in your history tab when you reopen the Communicator the next day.  This is another new enhancement to the ShoreTel system!

... You can add your own personal directory item in your Communicator and it will be accessible through your directory button on the phone. This will not show up in anybody else’s directory button. Just add the personal directory item to the Communicator by right clicking in the directory tab, and selecting “New Directory Item.” Fill in the contact details, click OK and now when you press the Directory button on your phone you will be able to view and dial any of the personal contacts you added to your Communicator.

... On the ShoreTel system,  if you have  initiated a conference call, you can drop out of the call and leave the other parties on the line still talking. Just hang up and the conference call can continue on without you!

... If you place a call on hold at your phone, you can go to any other ShoreTel phone and press Unpark + your extension to retrieve that call.

... that once you add a speed dial on your ShoreTel Communicator, you can access that speed dial from your phone as well? Just press the Directory button, then the Speed soft key to view all your speed dials! This is a new feature that is now available in 11.1
